Born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Alonzo ‘Hamburger’ Jones is an iconic comedian who first gained national attention in the 90s following appearances on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam.

He’s also appeared on Showtime at the Apollo, BET ComicView, Apollo Comedy Hour and Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed.

You may have seen Hamburger parodied on NBC’s Saturday Night Live and the FOX animated series, Family Guy.

Hamburger’s debut special is set to be released in 2026.
